Reshape or reposition asymmetrical appearance

This type of surgery is meant for people aged from 7 onwards. When the latter are bothered by having ears too prominent and protruded, obviously visible when hair is short, otoplasty is the solution.

The surgeon re-shapes the malformed ears and repositions them to restore a symmetrical and natural appearance.

The operation is performed during a day surgery under local or general anesthesia. The surgery lasts one hour, incisions are hidden behind the ear that is reshaped and fixed in the natural position.

After 14 days, stiches are removed, it will be necessary for the patient to keep a headband during 2 to 3 weeks to heal.
